It never ceases to amaze me–just how precious and sacred those first few weeks are with our children. A yawn, a stretch, even a hunger cry. It’s all so incredibly special and intimate. The gentle love Edison’s parents’ have for him is evident.
Wow! Talk about a start to wedding season for this former photojournalist. When I first met Kimberly she seemed shy, gracious and a bit reserved about being in the spotlight. As we discussed the big day, time became a point of stress (have you planned a wedding, anyone?). After Kimberly said I do to Alex, months of jitters melted away into giddiness. Nobody cared that the golf course wind was whipping everyone’s dresses (and hair) to bits. The details were laughed away by the new wife and her husband. The two of them beamed together. What more of an honor can I ask for, than to be the one to document this kind of transformation?
