Petoskey and Beaver Island
Chris and I celebrated four years of marriage in Petoskey and Beaver Island last week. The fresh air and quiet way of life in Northern Michigan always does my soul some good.

I spent a lot of time with my family this weekend traveling to Bloomington, Indiana for my cousin Leah’s wedding. Sifting through the photos I took of IU’s beautiful campus I was drawn to the pictures of these faces. It’s sad really how much we can take the faces of our family for granted. They become so familiar, I forget how unique, how beautiful my sisters are. The top photo, from left, is of my Aunt Mary, Uncle Fred, and my dad. I am so proud to come from these faces.
