With the Holidays come stories of compassion, thanks, and generosity. I have been fortunate to bear witness to these quiet, humble tales where members of the community emerge as gold.

Last week I witnessed adoption day as judges formed instant families with the swipe of a gavel and a Santa hat.

The McGee family has struggled with a deteriorating house and two sons with special challenges. When the Rockford community came together to renovate their kitchen and bathroom, it became a local Extreme Makeover Home Addition.
