Last week Chris and I were privileged to attend the final space shuttle landing at Kennedy Space Center. Atlantis touched down at 5:58 a.m. on July 21, bringing a close to 30 years of shuttle missions. In a whirlwind trip, we also spent some time swimming at Cocoa Beach and munching on Rock Shrimp in Titusville. Chis skyped live about his experience for WZZM 13. Watch here.
Ten days in news can include quite a range of subject matter. The last few weeks I have found myself on the top of the Amway Grand, in corn fields, at murder scenes, at weddings, and at a former First Lady’s funeral. This whirlwind has left me staggering to keep up on things like house cleaning, and of course my blog. (Grand Rapids Press Photos)
