I photographed the Moreys on the morning of our annual Friendsgiving (Thanksgiving with college friends). It was warm in the studio because of the impending thunderstorm, unusual for mid-November.
The blue-eyed group quickly relaxed for me, jumping, laughing and teasing each other. It was my first family “holiday,” shoot in the studio. What a pleasure–thank you Moreys for trusting me to document this time in your lives.

Josh Leo graciously designed my logo and a family session was the least I could do.
I’ve gotten to know Josh, Sara, and baby Blythe over the past year. It has been refreshing to walk along side another couple who loves to travel, drink good beer, and hates “baby land,” (aka living room filled with toys), as much as Chris and I do.
Besides being ridiculously photogenic, Jessica and Ryan were so much fun to photograph. As a former model, Jessica was completely at ease with the camera, and helped Ryan to relax and be silly. I feel so fortunate to be shooting their wedding in 2014.
