Across the street from Napoleon Bonaparte’s tomb is the Rodin museum, with the Rodin gardens behind it. For one euro, we skipped the museum but strolled through the walls of Ivy and statues where the famous “Thinker,” can be found.
Louis XIV lived in the palace of Versailles in 1682 until he and the royal family was forced out. Today Versailles is a suburb of Paris, with the palace standing as a symbol of absolute monarchy.
