Jamie Hewartson holds her one-year-old daughter, Ella, after being involved in a dozen car pile up on northbound U.S. 131 at 84th Street on Tuesday, May 28. Hewartson said the experience was scary. “The car’s scratched up but I don’t care,” she said. The Michigan State Police and other area crews tended to the area to assist motorists and remove damaged vehicles. No serious injuries were reported.
