John Gelderloos, a storeowner at Rainbow Music, strums a Mahalo ukulele on Monday, June 27 outside his store on West Leonard Street. Gelderloos said he has seen a rise in ukulele sales in the last year. The instrument is relatively inexpensive compared to other acoustic instruments.
