When my old friend Kim asked if I would photograph her family reunion at a bowling ally, I had no idea how fun it would be! Per tradition, the Wong family reunions include a silent and live auction to bid for family heirlooms. Cousins, siblings, and parents try to outbid one another for items ranging from jewelry to paintings to scrapbooks filled with ancestry research. The money is used to fund the next family reunion.
