Raquelle Williams, 3, of East Grand Rapids is led through a sea of 3,200 American flags at Cannonsburg Ski Area Friday, referred to as “Healing Field.” Each flag represents a life that was lost on September 11 with the name of a victim and their story. The Healing Field is a national memorial that was done in 16 locations across the U.S. this weekend. Raquelle asked her grandmother, Cindy Leep of Ada, why there were so many flags, and Leep explained it is because ten years ago many people lost their lives.
