Amber Sackett, 20, of Grand Rapids and her dog, Vera, walk the outskirts of Wealthy Street Farmers Market on the corner of Wealthy Street SE and Cass Ave SE on Thursday. “We’re so happy to have a farmer’s market close by,” said Sackett, “supporting local is what gives the city culture and connection.” This is the first season for the market, which will run every Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
