MyLeah Berryhill, 1, of Grand Rapids admires tiles decorated by neighborhood kids for the Briggs Park butterfly garden fence, part of the new playground at 324 Knapp Street N.E. on Friday. Workers from Amway, the City of Grand Rapids, Creston Neighborhood Association, KaBOOM!, and Ottawa Hills High School came together to complete the project in one day, starting at 9:30 a.m. with a deployment ceremony and finished with a ribbon cutting at the end of the day. The park was designed with the help of neighborhood kids who participated in a Design Day in March.
