Lt. Ralph Mason tears up as paroled inmates thank him for helping turn their lives around Thursday during a C.L.E.A.R. meeting (coalition, leadership, education and rehabilitation), at First Christian Reformed Church. Mason, who is retiring, helped create the mentor program. “Everybody can change,” Mason said, “there’s a few bumps in the road but you keep on going.”
