That top photo is ultra powerful. great use of light and capturing emotion…lethal combination. Was this on assignment?

Thanks for the comments. This was shot on assignment. I got called out to a fire and, as usual, everything was pretty much out by the time I arrived on the scene so I decided to shoot photos of by-standers. I noticed this woman on her phone near the glow of the fire truck lights. I spoke with her family and found out they lived in the same building as the apartment that burned and had nowhere to sleep that night.
